Arrival in Arusha

Upon your arrival at either Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you’ll be greeted by a representative from Masai Jungle Adventure who will escort you to your hotel. This initial day allows you to settle in and rest after your journey. Later, you’ll meet with our safari expert who will provide detailed information about the upcoming safari, including safety guidelines, wildlife expectations, and cultural insights.

Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After a hearty breakfast, your adventure begins with a journey to Tarangire National Park. As you drive along the picturesque Masai steppe, you’ll pass through local villages and vibrant shopping centers. Tarangire is renowned for its diverse wildlife, including large herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, and buffalo. The park is also a paradise for bird enthusiasts, boasting over 400 bird species. You’ll spend the day on a thrilling game drive, immersing yourself in the natural beauty of Tarangire.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park – Lake Manyara National Park – Lake Eyasi

Today’s journey takes you to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and stunning scenery. Explore the park’s lush habitats and abundant wildlife, including hippos, flamingos, and unique bird species. Afterward, continue your adventure to Lake Eyasi, where you’ll have the opportunity to visit the Datoga tribe and experience their traditional way of life. Witness breathtaking sunsets over the lake before retiring to your lodge or campsite for the evening.

Day 3: Lake Eyasi – Serengeti National Park

Start your day with an immersive experience alongside the bushmen of Lake Eyasi. Learn survival techniques and join them on a hunting trip, gaining insight into their ancient way of life. Afterward, enjoy a hearty breakfast before departing for Serengeti National Park. En route, you’ll pass through the Great Rift Valley and stop at a Masai village for a cultural encounter. Experience traditional dances, interact with villagers, and learn about their customs. Upon entering Serengeti, embark on a game drive through its vast grasslands, home to an abundance of wildlife, including the iconic Great Wildebeest Migration.

Day 4 – 5: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

Dedicate two full days to exploring the wonders of Serengeti National Park. Rise early for morning game drives, where you may encounter predators on the hunt or witness the spectacle of the Great Migration. Marvel at the diverse landscapes and prolific wildlife as you traverse the park’s expansive plains. Keep your camera ready to capture unforgettable moments, from majestic lions to graceful giraffes. Enjoy picnic lunches amidst the wilderness and soak in the raw beauty of the Serengeti.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Begin your day with another exhilarating game drive in Serengeti before departing for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. En route, you’ll pass through scenic landscapes and stop at Rhino Lodge in Karatu Town for dinner and overnight accommodation. Take in the panoramic views and savor the tranquility of your surroundings as you prepare for the final leg of your safari.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha – Departure

On your last day, descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater for a memorable game drive. Marvel at the abundance of wildlife thriving within this natural wonder, from herds of wildebeest to elusive predators like lions and leopards. Afterward, return to Arusha, where you can choose to spend the night or transfer directly to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure.
