Day 0: Arrival in Arusha
Upon your arrival at Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport, our team will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your accommodation in Arusha Town for an overnight stay. Take this time to relax and prepare for the exciting safari adventure ahead.
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Your Tanzania safari journey kicks off after breakfast at your hotel. Departing early, around 8:30 am, we head towards Tarangire National Park, renowned for its vast elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Along the Tarangire River, witness the bustling wildlife activity as predators and prey gather to quench their thirst. Enjoy game viewing throughout the day before settling in for dinner and an overnight stay at the campsite or lodge.
Day 2: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, we depart for Lake Manyara National Park, located 120 kilometers west of Arusha. Encounter diverse wildlife, including monkeys, giraffes, zebras, and if luck permits, lions lounging in the trees. Explore the park’s varied landscapes, from salt lakes to woodlands adorned with baobab trees. After a day of exploration, retire to your campground or tented cabin for a restful evening.
Day 3: Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park
Today, journey through the picturesque countryside to Serengeti National Park, the epitome of Africa’s untamed wilderness. Traverse the Seronera region, known for its abundant wildlife drawn to the Seronera River. Enjoy a scenic road trip with a late evening game drive upon arrival. Dinner and overnight accommodation await at a public campsite or tented camp, allowing you to soak in the beauty of the Serengeti under the vast African sky.
Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Start your day with an early morning game drive in the Serengeti, where you may have the chance to spot the Big Five. After a hearty lunch, depart for Ngorongoro Crater, enjoying wildlife sightings along the way. Arrive at the crater rim late in the day for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of this natural wonder.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater back to Arusha
Embark on a 5-6 hour crater safari tour, exploring the diverse habitats of Ngorongoro Crater and spotting the iconic Big Five. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the wildlife before beginning the journey back to Arusha in the evening. Upon arrival, we’ll drop you off at the airport, marking the end of your unforgettable Tanzania safari journey.
